Thematic Focus: Global Compacts Round-up

Updates:

A revised draft of the Global Compact for Migration was made available on 26 March 2018. Here are a few comments about the draft from the co-facilitators of the intergovernmental negotiations as well as an overview from the SDG Knowledge Hub. The third round of negotiations was held 3-6 April 2018.

The second formal consultation on the Global Compact on Refugees was held 20-21 March 2018.  Read the AHC's opening remarks. Statements made at the second formal consultation and other comments on the first draft of the Global Compact on Refugees are posted here, while NGO statements can be found on ICVA's site. The third formal consultation will be held 10-11 April 2018; here is the agenda.
